File structure
The Obsidian hierarchy that I am currently experimenting with,
- Attachments - for static server hosting (future-proofing)
- Databases
- Bookshelf
- Cinema
- Words
- Originals - Note-worthy things that I get to do
- Poetry
- Stories
- Private - Private files
- Templates
- Zettelkasten
- Atlas
- Notes
Daily notes
Original thought: Rather than having a separate To-Do list app, a note would be better. I can elaborate on tasks and it would really help me track a particular habit on a daily basis
After 3 years of trying: Daily notes does not work! Could be because of how infrequently I open Obsidian sometimes! But even on the days I do, it’s really to quickly jot things down. Also I don’t see a point in storing the history of ToDos. Guess I held on for so long as it made the graph look more filled!
Alternatives,
- Either a single note (with latest at top)
- Google keep widget in home screen (sticking with this as I use my phone a lot at this point)
